Can I drink alcohol onboard the pedal bar?You may drink beer and wine on board Bar Bike Dallas. However, please note the following laws and rules so that your group’s activities are lawful and safe: Beer and wine only. Hard cider, lemonade, seltzers and malt beverages are OK! No glass or hard liquor on board. We recommend cans for beer and either boxed wine or a separate plastic container. All alcoholic beverages are BYOB. We cannot provide or sell alcohol. All containers must remain closed until on board the vehicle. Do not step off board the vehicle with an open container as you will be in violation of public consumption laws and may be cited. All alcoholic beverages must stay on the vehicle! We aim to provide an amazing time, but your safety is our #1 priority! DO NOT arrive for your party already intoxicated or service may be refused without a refund.

When should we arrive for our pedal bar tour? Please arrive 20 minutes prior to your start time to ensure that we can check you in, get loaded up, and go over the rules to get the tour started on time. YOU MUST HAVE YOUR WAIVERS COMPLETED IN ADVANCE, OTHERWISE YOUR START TIME MAY BE DELAYED. Click here to view and sign the waiver. Reservations are for the time slot booked. Since we run our tours back to back, private parties that get started late will still finish at the stated end time. Pub crawls will start and end at the time specified. We cannot wait for stragglers as it is unfair to everyone who showed up on time, and the ticket price will not be refunded. We will attempt to have you meet us at the first bar stop instead if you are running late.

What should we bring with us?One of the funnest parts of the pedal bar experience is that you can actually bring your own beer and wine on board! But don’t let forgetting a couple of things dampen the experience. Below are the supplies we recommend bringing with you, along with a few things we can’t have on board. What To Bring: We have a cooler and provide ice and cups, but you can pack your own cooler if desired Your favorite beer, wine, hard ciders, seltzers, etc. Water to stay hydrated Snacks if desired Do Not Bring: Glass containers. All alcohol should be in cans, boxed, or in plastic containers Hard liquor and mixed drinks are not allowed on board the buzz bike per city code

Who drives the pedal bar?Have no fear, an experienced and trained Pedal Bar pilot will drive the bike so your group can focus on partying!
-
Should we tip the pedal bar driver?Your Pedal Bar pilots do work for tips and aim to provide an excellent experience for our guests! You can either add a tip in advance when making your booking, give your driver cash, or let us know to add it to the credit card on file after the party. Many of them also have Venmo or other convenient cashless options! It is always greatly appreciated for a job well done!
-
Is there music on board?Yes! We have a rocking sound system and LED lights for the perfect party ambiance. Our tablet that hooks up to the system is full of music from every genre with tons of songs and playlist options for you to choose. Make sure to bring a good DJ!

How many people can ride?We can fit a maximum of 15 passengers on board the bike, but require a minimum of six people to pedal the pedal saloon. Non-private parties and pub crawls (based on individual tickets) are tentative until we have the minimum number of riders. We will notify you 24 hours in advance if the reservation cannot be confirmed and will issue a refund if that is the case. We recommend being flexible with the time so that we can pair you up with other groups to reach the minimum needed! Individuals or groups that are too small to be confirmed MAY be bumped to another time in favor of a confirmed private party and we will notify you if that occurs. In that case, you will have the option of getting a refund or changing times. There are a total of 10 pedaling seats and 5 non-pedaling seats. So if you have someone in your group that can’t pedal, no problem!
-
Is there an age requirement?Pub Crawl Age Requirement The minimum age for all parties booked by individual seat involving alcohol, including pub crawls, is 21 years of age or older. Riders must present valid ID to the pilot when showing the release waiver before the party begins. Private Party Age Requirement Private parties may have people under the age of 21 on board. If alcohol is involved, the people under 21 may not be consuming alcohol and must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian who is responsible for the minor. If at any time a minor is suspected of consuming alcohol by the pilot, the reservation will be immediately terminated and no refund will be issued. Infants and children who require a car seat will not be allowed on board the bar bike. Children under the age of 12 may be required to sit on the back bench with the seat belt on.

Where do we start and end?In general, unless otherwise noted on your reservation, all parties begin at our location in Deep Ellum. Pub crawls drop off at your third bar stop. Private parties may end at our location or end at a spot of your choosing near our location in Deep Ellum.

Can my group sign the waiver in advance?YOU MUST HAVE YOUR WAIVERS COMPLETED IN ADVANCE, OTHERWISE YOUR START TIME MAY BE DELAYED. Click here to view and sign the waiver. You may send this link to your party ahead of time so that they may complete their waivers, as well. Upon completion, you will receive a verification email that your waiver is complete. Please have your photo ID ready at check-in to verify that your waiver has been completed.

Where can we take the pedal bar and where is each stop?Private parties can take the pedal bar to any stop that they want to go to in our operating area! If you have a few favorite bars, just let the pilot know where to go. Want to try something new? Ask the pilot for a recommendation! Most groups can make it to up to three stops with about 25 minutes at each stop. Pub crawls with multiple groups on board have a set itinerary of three bar stops that cannot be changed.
-
Is it really pedal powered?Yes! We encourage you to pedal to make the bike move. It’s great for the environment and your calorie count. The bike is also equipped with an electric motor to help the riders. It’s a lot easier than it looks!
-
Do I need a reservation to ride?Yes! We run based on reservations only, which you can make through our online booking system or by calling us. We recommend planning ahead as we are often booked in advance for popular weekend time slots! Reserving a private group party requires a 50% non-refundable down payment with the remaining balance charged to the card on file 14 days before the booked date. Parties booked by individual seat such as pub crawls require payment of the full amount at the time of reservation.
-
How long is the reservation?Reservations are typically for two hour intervals unless otherwise specified or additional time is purchased. Time customization can sometimes be done with large company groups or Sunday – Thursday by request. Please arrive for your reservation 20 minutes before the start time to check-in, verify waivers, go over the rules, and ensure prompt departure. YOU MUST HAVE YOUR WAIVERS COMPLETED IN ADVANCE, OTHERWISE YOUR START TIME MAY BE DELAYED. Click here to view and sign the waiver. You may send this link to your party ahead of time so that they may complete their waivers, as well. Reservations are for the time slot booked. Since we run our parties back to back, private parties that get started late will still finish at the stated end time. Pub crawls will start and end at the time specified. We cannot wait for stragglers as it is unfair to everyone who showed up on time, and the ticket price will not be refunded. I didn't receive an email after making my reservation. HELP!Never fear! Just give us a call and we will verify that we have the correct email address on file to send you a new one.

My reservation says "pending" or "on hold". What does that mean?If your reservation email says Confirmed, no further action on your part is necessary. Reservation emails that say Pending either still require payment in order to be confirmed or have not reached the minimum number of riders to be confirmed. Please note that pending reservations are NOT confirmed until you receive an email specifying that you are confirmed. Individuals or groups that are too small to be confirmed MAY need to be moved to another time in favor of a confirmed private party, and we will notify you if that occurs. In that case, you will have the option of changing times or getting a refund. For smaller groups, we recommend being flexible with your reservation time, as often we can pair up small groups together at a different time in order to make the tour happen! On Hold emails mean you have joined a waiting list and the time slot is not yet available. All customers with pending and on hold bookings will be notified 24 hours before the start time as to whether or not their booking is confirmed.
-
Can I change or cancel my reservation? You may call or email us to cancel your reservation up to 14 days before your reservation date and receive a full refund. You may call or email us to reschedule your reservation date, subject to availability, up to 14 days before your reservation date. We cannot cancel or reschedule less than 14 days from the reservation date. Any payments made will be forfeited in the case of cancellation within 14 days of the reservation date and any balances owed will still be charged 14 days prior to the booked date. If your reservation is rescheduled, we cannot reschedule or cancel a second time. These bookings will still be charged the full amount. Make sure to cancel or reschedule in advance if you need to! Reservations utilizing three or more bikes must pay a 50% non-refundable down payment to hold each bike. This amount will not be refunded at any point if bikes are cancelled. Full payment will be due 14 days in advance and is non-refundable.
-
What is the weather policy? We ride rain or shine, but for safety we cancel if there is lightning or other severe weather. Don’t worry — you won’t be pedaling around in a tornado! If we have to cancel the reservation based on severe weather conditions, you will receive a 100% refund or rain check for another date. Please dress appropriately for predicted weather conditions. Weather cancellations are not made until right before your reservation’s scheduled start time, as weather can be unpredictable.
-
What should I wear? Please dress appropriately for predicted weather conditions. We do recommend closed-toed shoes for comfort though it is not required. We also recommend not wearing high heels or long, flowing dresses!
